Renegades Bound for BC Place to Defend 2007 Provincial Title.This past Saturday saw the Renegades take on the Abbotsford Falcons in the provincial semi-final playoffs here in Langford. Victoria came out victorious with a convincing score of 58-8. The win secures a spot in the championship game next weekend, Sunday, Nov 30 at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. They will take on Coquitlam Raiders in a rematch of last years final. Anyone interested in going to the game can contact Leslie Johnson at 250-479-6888. A third bus has been booked for fans and anyone can book a seat. You must let them know by Friday, Nov. 28. Show your support and wear RED to the game. Times Colonist Team Photo & Fundraiser We will be putting in a full page team photo along with business card size ads in the newspaper. We are asking players/parents to approach local businesses or consultants to place an ad for only $150. These sponsorships will help fund travel/bus costs for the team. This was done in 2007 and was a huge success. All cheques can be made payable to the Victoria Renegades. All ads and money must be handed in by Dec. 7 to Mark Townsend. RENEGADES CLINCHED THEIR 3RD CONSECUTIVE VANCOUVER ISLAND JUNIOR BANTAM CHAMPIONSHIP!With a convincing win over the Nanaimo Lions, the Renegades clinched their 3rd Vancouver Island title with a score of 50 - 20. Led by MJ Gabas with 3 touchdowns, Cassidy Jones and Brett Johnston each with 2 and a team rushing of 343 yards the offensive line proved unbeatable. On the defensive side the effort was nothing less than stellar! The leading tackler was Cassidy Jones followed closely by MJ Gabas, Ben Sloat, Joel Taylor, Calvin Johnson and Bull Henderson. | 
Renegade Fans!JUNIOR BANTAM FOOTBALL PROGRAMOur program offers an excellent opportunity for players (boys and girls) ages 12 and 13 to learn and play the game of football in a supportive environment, develop their football skills, form new friendships and develop life skills through hard work, goal setting and team building. Besides all that, the kids have fun! With Victoria Renegades, we boast a successful football program with high quality coaching.
