It's a three-peat for the Victoria Renegades as they captured their third consecutive provincial title on Sunday.  The Renegades defeated the Chilliwack Giants 43 - 16 in Vancouver under very chilly conditions but the cold weather couldn't keep the boys down.   The Renegades capped off another outstanding year finishing the 2009 season with a perfect 14 and 0 record.  Marcus Davis accounted for 4 touchdowns, rushing for 3 TD’s and throwing a perfect TD strike to Tanner Browne who took it to the end zone.  Jesse Woollard and Tanner Browne also had rushing majors for the Renegades.  Alex Brennan and Isaiah Pheiffer combined for 6 points in convert kicks.  Marcus Davis was named the game’s Most Valuable Player while Jesse Woollard received the Most Sportsmanlike Player Award.  The Renegades Game Ball went to Peter Elwood for his outstanding efforts on all 3 facets of the game that being offense, defense and special teams.  Tanner Browne was selected as the Offensive Player of the Game for his hard running as well as his great touchdown reception.  Stephan Lechinsky and James Nicholas were co-winners of the Defensive Players of the Game for their outstanding play against the hard driving Chilliwack offense.

Besides all that, the kids have fun! With Victoria Renegades, we boast a successful football program with high quality coaching. Our emphasis is TEAM building (Together Everyone Achieves More) and PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). Above all, we encourage the kids to try their BEST and have FUN. Be it in football or in life, you will enjoy it best, if you always give it your best. This season promises to be another very exciting year for the Victoria Renegades!
